What We Do

We carry out signal and power integrity analyses on products and systems in order to locate, fix and prevent SI and PI problems.

SI and PI Analysis

Analysis allows visibility of how signals behave as they traverse IC Packages, PCB traces, vias, connectors and passive components.

Our Expertise

Our familiarity and experience with the latest technologies provides an extensive knowledge base from which you will benefit.

How can we help?

Existing designs: Signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) problems can be notoriously difficult to track down and resolve. Through the use of state-of-the-art analysis tools we are able to track down the causes of SI/PI problems and test out practical, real-world solutions. ‘Try again’ re-spins cost a huge amount in both time and money, and often do not identify the root-cause of the problem. Our simulation tools allow us to nail down root-causes and evaluate remedies prior to committing to costly manufacture.

New designs: Time to market is everything. Identifying potential SI/PI problems early in the design cycle is paramount to the success of your new product.  Our analysis work broadly falls into one of two categories: ‘post-route’ studies for existing designs, and design consultancy for new projects. If your new design involves high-speed signalling, don’t leave success to chance. We have the tools and the experience to help you enjoy success on your first design iteration.

If you’d like us to help resolve your SI/PI issues, or help avoid them on a new design, please get in touch using our contact form.

Why use us?

We have over two decades of SI/PI analysis experience and have seen (and resolved) a vast array of technical challenges. For many clients their SI/PI analysis begins prior to commencing any PCB design activity. We can run simulations of systems that are only at the schematic design stage, or even designs that are nothing more than a vague concept. For designs that are more mature, we can import PCB layout data from ANY design system.
